In between a set of beautiful family portraits, I'm constantly looking for all the little unposed and unprompted moments. THE SHOOT
My photo sessions are fun, relaxed and informal and can take place either outdoors, and I can recommend a few beautiful locations near Godalming and Milford where I regularly shoot. Or you can choose to have a relaxed family photoshoot in the comfort of your home, where I can capture the beautiful authenticity of your family life, incorporating all of the love, laughter and silliness in between! Your photoshoot will last roughly one hour.​​

Prints
When you log on to your image gallery, you will have an option to purchase any image as a framed or unframed print with a selection of sizes and frame styles. Simply add to your basket within the gallery for high quality prints delivered straight to your home.

Photo books
I also offer bespoke photo books. Hardback coffee table style albums as well as smaller keepsake albums are available. I work with you to curate a beautiful album with your images of choice, designing the internal layout and outer cover with a variety of styles to suite your requirements. These include fabric bound, boxed, or simply with a cover photo.

How long will my photoshoot last?
My family photography sessions are usually about half an hour to one hour long, but don't worry I don't watch the clock! It's important to me that we spend the right amount of time capturing the moments that matter, so we can all be flexible and more importantly... relaxed! I photograph throughout the week as well as weekends, morning, afternoon or evening.

Where will my photoshoot take place?
I have been photographing families in Surrey for a long time and I can recommend the best locations that provide a stunning backdrop for your family photoshoot. I have a few firm favourites around Godalming, however, I also travel throughout Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire, so if you have a preferred location then let me know during our session planning. Some people like to have an at home photo shoot too. When choosing your photoshoot location for you and your family, consider the seasonality of your surroundings, i.e. Summer time offers an abundance of wildflower meadows, through to later summer months were hues of purple from blooming heather provide a gorgeous and popular backdrop for your family photoshoot. As we move into autumn, why not take advantage of those gorgeous red, orange and brown tones for which the Surrey countryside has plenty of beautiful locations on offer.

What is the booking process?
To book your family photoshoot, I simply take a 50% deposit to secure your booking and I will send you a short form to complete to give me some information about you and your family. This helps me to prepare and get the most out of our session. This locks in your date with me, but I remain flexible, so that if you need to change the date of you photoshoot then you can do so at anytime. Prior to the photo-session we will have a quick call to go over all of the useful information such as clothing, weather outlook, how to prepare etc.

How do we plan for the weather for an outdoor family photoshoot?
Believe it or not, a cloudy day provides the perfect soft light for outdoor natural photography. So rest assured, if the sun is not shining (which is often the case in England!), you will have a beautiful set of family photos. If the weather forecast is looking particularly awful such as strong winds or rain then I will post-pone the shoot, no one likes being outside when its miserable so we make a call the day before and I will call you to discuss. IF we need to postpone the shoot for weather related reasons, your deposit is safe and there are no additional charges.
