For a fun and memorable way to celebrate turning one, cake smash sessions are always a favourite — with a soft, natural twist. Styling remains minimal and elegant, keeping the focus on your baby’s reactions and personality.

What is a cake smash photoshoot?
A cake smash photoshoot is a fun and memorable way to celebrate your baby’s first birthday. Your baby is free to explore, squish, and taste the cake while I capture all the joy and curiosity. These sessions are relaxed, playful, and perfect for marking this special milestone.
Do you provide the cake for cake smash sessions?
Yes — I can organise a beautiful semi-iced vanilla sponge cake, freshly made to order by Butter and Cream Cakes in Milford for £45. The cakes are designed to be simple, elegant, and perfect for little hands to smash!
What happens after the cake smash photoshoot?
After the cake smash, we finish with a fun bubble bath photoshoot in a sink setup. This helps clean your baby while also creating some of the sweetest, splash-filled images — it’s always a favourite part of the session!
When should I book a cake smash photoshoot?
I recommend booking your cake smash photoshoot in Surrey when your baby is around 10–11 months old, so your images are ready in time for their first birthday celebrations.
Do you offer milestone birthday photoshoots?
Yes, milestone birthday photoshoots are a lovely way to celebrate your baby turning one (or any age up to 18 months). Balloons can be included to add a soft, celebratory touch to your images.
Can parents or siblings be included in the photos?
Absolutely — parents and siblings are very welcome to join in for some relaxed family photos at the beginning or end of your baby photoshoot.
What should I bring to my baby photoshoot?
You don’t need to bring much, as I provide outfits, props, and styling. You may wish to bring snacks, your baby’s favourite comfort item, or a spare outfit for after the session.
